Schedule for Islanders second round series announced
We may not know who the Charlottetown Islanders will take on in the second round of the QMJHL playoffs, brought to you by Roland Tours.
But we now know when games one and two will take place.
Game one is Thursday April 6th at 7:00 pm, live from the Eastlink Centre.
There will be $3 drinks available for those in attendance.
Game two will be on Saturday, which promises to be an exciting day at the Eastlink Centre.
The Island Storm of the NBL will play at 1:00 pm against the London Lightning.
Immediately following the final buzzer, the court will be lifted and the ice will be revealed for game two of the second round of the QMJHL playoffs.
The game will start a half hour later than usual at 7:30 pm.
For those looking to enjoy both games, there is a joint ticket available at the Eastlink Centre box office:
- Adults – $27
- Senior – $24
- Student/Youth – $20
Craig Foster, President of Operations for the Charlottetown Islanders, is excited for the first ever day of basketball and hockey at the Eastlink Centre.
“It’s going to be a fun-filled day consisting of two top level leagues in two different sports,” said Foster.
“I want to thank the Island Storm for partnering with us to make this day happen. We are all looking forward to being a part of such a great day.”
Tickets for the second round will become available at 1pm on Monday, April 3rd.
The Saturday joint ticket, for both the Storm and Islanders, can be bought in-person at the Eastlink Centre box office.
