Rosters announced for final stage of 2022 QMJHL Cup
The final event of the QMJHL Cup is being held from April 27 to May 1 at the Centre d’excellence Sports Rousseau in Boisbriand, Quebec. This event will be one of the last opportunities for scouts to evaluate players in action ahead of the 2022 QMJHL Entry Draft presented by Fenplast next July 4 and 5.
This competition will regroup the top 40 prospects from the Atlantic provinces, who will be split into two separate teams, as well as the top 80 prospects from Quebec, who will be assigned to four different squads.

The first leg of the QMJHL Cup was held during the M18AAA Challenge from December 16 to 19, 2021 in Saguenay, Quebec. The event was comprised of six teams: two teams representing the top U15 prospects selected by Hockey Quebec, and four teams consisting of the top 80 prospects born in 2006 from both the LHEQ and RSEQ leagues.
The second event was set to take place from February 3 to 6, 2021 in Dartmouth, NS. Each branch of the Atlantic Provinces (New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland & Labrador) was to build a roster with the top U16 players from their territory. Unfortunately, this second stage of the QMJHL Cup had to be canceled because of COVID-19.
The QMJHL salutes the collaboration of Hockey Canada, Hockey Quebec, Hockey New Brunswick, Hockey Nova Scotia, Hockey PEI, Hockey NL and the Quebec U18 Developmental Hockey League for making the QMJHL Cup possible.
