We’re all tied up
Former Moosehead Spencer Metcalfe’s goal on the first shot of the game proved to be enough as the Mooseheads lost 3-0 Saturday night to the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles. Cape Breton put 2 more goals in with the Mooseheads net empty as they pressed for the tie. Andrew Hayes made 26 saves for the shutout in the Eagles net and frustrated the Moose all night. The Mooseheads loss means they are tied with the Screaming Eagles for 16th place, with the Moose having a game in hand. The two teams will meet during the last day of the regular season on Sunday, March 20th at 2pm.
