Titan part ways with Francoeur

BOUCHERVILLE, Monday, January 28, 2008 – The Titan organization announced this morning that they have fired head coach Denis Francoeur. Ron Choules, the head coach and general manager of the Kahnawake Condors in the Junior AAA League, has been hired to replace him.

Choules, who worked as an assistant coach with the Victoriaville Tigres in 2005, had been working as a scout for the Titan organization for the past three years.

Francoeur, who was hired last summer, led Acadie-Bathust to a 23-22-1-2 record (.479). Before this season, he had worked in Shawinigan for eleven seasons.
