Screaming Eaglesâ’ Bradley Gallant suspended five games
BOUCHERVILLE, Thursday, January 26, 2006 (QMJHL) The Quebec Major Junior Hockey League's disciplinary committee imposed an automatic five game suspension today to Cape Breton Screaming Eagles winger Bradley Gallant.
The suspension follows an incident which occurred on Tuesday, January 26, against the Moncton Wildcats, in which Mr. Gallant left the players’ bench following a stoppage in play in order to participate in an altercation.
The decision follows the application of article 66 c. of the QMJHL's rule book. The suspension is in effect as of today.
In accordance with the QMJHL's policy in the matter of disciplinary sanctions, the disciplinary committee will not be available for further comment.
