Miguel Sullivan named the VAUGHN goaltender of the month
BOUCHERVILLE, Tuesday, February 3, 2015 – The Quebec Major Junior Hockey League today announced that Miguel Sullivan of the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles is the VAUGHN goaltender of the month.
The Halifax, Nova Scotia, native was very solid over a four-week span, recording six wins against only one loss while posting a 1.57 goals-against-average and .945 save percentage. He also registered a shutout.
In his only loss, he was named the second star of the game. Sullivan was also outstanding in a 5-1 victory over the Chicoutimi Saguenéens on January 29th, stopping 42 shots.
Over the past month, the Screaming Eagles have really stepped up their play in large part due to their sizzling goaltending. They have won eight of their past ten games.
