The Quebec Remparts player Yanick Turcotte will automatically be suspended for each one of the subsequent fights he is involved in, for the balance of the regular season. The Quebec Major Junior Hockey League Commissioner, Gilles Courteau rendered this decision after having spoken to the player and his General Manager, Philippe Boucher and having reviewed the players’ file. The meeting follows the amendment to the regulation passed by the Board of Governors on December 3rd requiring a meeting with the Commissioner when a player reaches 10 fights.
