Exhibition season under way

BOUCHERVILLE, Thursday, August 17, 2006 (QMJHL) – The Quebec Major Junior Hockey League pre-season schedule got under way yesterday as the defending MasterCard Memorial Cup champion Remparts defeated the Saguenéens 3-1. Benjamin Rubin, Guillaume Veilleux and Jean-François Rioux scored for the Remparts, while Mathieu Bolduc provided the lone goal for Chicoutimi.

Tonight’s match-ups see the Tigres battle the Foreurs at the Air Creebec Center, while the Océanic and the Drakkar lock horns in Sept-Iles.
