The Western Hockey League today announced several fines and suspensions.
The Prince Albert Raiders have been fined $300.00 for the actions of their players late in a game at Calgary on January 11. The Calgary Hitmen have been fined $200.00 for the actions of their players late in the same game.
James Demone of the Prince Albert Raiders has been suspended for one game for receiving his third game misconduct of the season at Calgary on January 11th. He has served the suspension.
The Prince George Cougars have been fined $300.00 for the actions of their players late in a game at Saskatoon on January 13. The Saskatoon Blades have been fined $200.00 for the actions of their players late in the same game.
Tim Smith of the Swift Current Broncos has been suspended for two games for receiving a match penalty versus the Kootenay Ice on January 11th.
Darrell May of the Vancouver Giants has been suspended for one game for receiving a major and game misconduct for checking-from-behind versus the
Kamloops Blazers on January 11th. He has served the suspension.
