Message from Jesse Wallin – President of the WHL Alumni Association
On behalf of the Western Hockey League (WHL) Alumni Executive committee, I’d like to extend an invitation to all fellow WHL Alumni to join our growing network of members. The WHL continues to be one of the finest player development leagues in the world while also providing its players with the most extensive scholarship program of its kind. Like many of you, the WHL was the foundation of many lifelong friendships and had a massive impact on my development as both a player and person, and I look forward to the opportunity to remain connected to it.
The mission of the WHL Alumni Association is multifaceted. The first priority is to establish a database of former players, coaches, managers, and trainers in order to reconnect and both update and educate members on the progress and development of the WHL. Through this database, the goal is to develop and grow an alumni network that will not only create value and opportunities for present and future WHL Alumni members alike, but also provide a structured platform for members to provide suggestions and feedback that will further enhance the WHL experience for current and future players. The WHL is continually striving to improve, and this is a great opportunity for past players and personnel to have an impact on the direction and growth of the WHL.
I welcome your involvement and participation in the continued development of the Western Hockey League and the WHL Alumni Association, and look forward to connecting.
Yours in hockey,
Jesse Wallin
President
