Oshawa Generals Head Scout Frank Evola to Join the Windsor Spitfires
It was announced today from the Windsor Spitfires organization that Oshawa Generals Head Scout, Frank Evola, has accepted the position of Director of Scouting and Hockey Operations for the Spitfires.
Frank has been with the Generals since he came on as a scout during the 2007-2008 season. He played a key role in helping rebuild the team, which led them to a Memorial Cup birth in 2015 and eventual win for the first time since 1990. Following the Memorial Cup, he was promoted to Head Scout during the summer of 2015.
“We want to thank Frank for his 10 years of unwavering commitment to our club. Frank was a huge part of the Generals winning the Memorial Cup in 2015, a team that featured 18 of 24 players that had been drafted by the Generals” said Vice President and General Manager Roger Hunt.
We want to congratulate Frank on his new endeavors and wish him the best of luck with the Windsor Spitfires.
