McShane, Antropov and Peccia to Join Future Generals Hockey Camp as Coaches
The Future Generals Hockey Camp is excited to announce Allan McShane, Danil Antropov, and Mario Peccia as coaches. They will be joining Ty Tullio, Dylan Robinson, Nico Gross, Nando Eggenberger, Mitchell Brewer and Nick Wong as confirmed coaches, along with members of the Oshawa Generals coaching staff for what is sure to be an exciting week for all campers attending. The Future Generals Hockey Camp is being held on August 20th -24th at the Tribute Communities Centre.
McShane completed his sophomore season with the Generals last season and collected 20 goals and 45 assists in 67 games. This past spring, McShane played for Canada at the U18 World Championships leading team Canada in scoring. McShane caped his impressive 2017-2018 campaign off by getting drafted in the 4th Round, 97th Overall by the Montreal Canadiens.
Like McShane, Antropov spent his sophomore season with the Oshawa Generals scoring 15 goals and 16 assists in 59 games. Antropov was selected 6th overall in the 2016 OHL Priority Selection Draft and is eligible for the 2019 NHL Entry Draft.
Peccia started last season with the Kingston Frontenacs and was traded to the Oshawa Generals mid-season. Peccia was drafted in the 7th round,130th overall by the Kingston Frontenacs in the 2015 OHL Priority Selection. Peccia will be spending one on one time with goalies at the Future Generals Hockey Camp, working on skills specific to goaltenders.
The Future Generals Hockey Camp is open to players of all skill levels, aged seven to thirteen, where they are given the unique opportunity to develop their skills both on and off the ice with Oshawa Generals players and members of the coaching staff.
As a bonus to campers, Procut will be back this year offering complimentary on-site skate sharpening during the camp!
