Generals and Bulldogs fight for top spot in East Division
Oshawa, Ont. – The Oshawa Generals meet the Brantford Bulldogs tonight at the Brantford Civic Centre as they aim to begin their 3-game week with another win and carry their streak to six.
The Generals have turned a corner this new year after the Rangers and Greyhounds delivered back-to-back losses within the first three days of 2024 at the TCC. Since then, the Gens returned from a US trip with four points and the following weekend they locked in six more. The five victories have pulled Oshawa up in the standings, where they lay second in the East Division. Oshawa enters tonight’s game with a mission to return home with two more points and secure that top spot.
Brantford approaches tonight’s matchup after a 4-3 win against the Barrie Colts on Saturday. Anticipating protecting the lead of the East Division, the Bulldogs and Generals will fight for those two points. The Bulldogs currently have 46 points and the Generals trail behind with 44.
