Cade McNelly

2019-20: McNelly played in 40 games in his second season with the T-Birds and had three goals and seven assists for 10 points with 110 penalty minutes. He had his first multi-point game with a goal and an assist against the Portland Winterhawks in a 6-5 shootout loss on January 25 at accesso ShoWare Center.

2018-19: McNelly played in 46 games and had one goal and one assist with 123 penalty minutes. He scored his first career WHL goal at the Victoria Royals on February 2. McNelly played in four playoff games against Vancouver in the first round and registered an assist.

2017-18: McNelly appeared in 15 games during the regular season but did not register a point. He played seven games in the AMHL with the Fort Saskatchewan Rangers Midget AAA team and had one goal and three assists for four points in seven games. The Rangers made the playoffs and he played in seven games but did not register a point.

2016-17: McNelly played in the AMHL with the Fort Saskatchewan Rangers Midget AAA team. He played in 20 games and had three assists 60 penalty minutes. His AMHL team did not make the playoffs this season. 

2015-16: McNelly played for the Fort Saskatchewan Rangers Bantam AAA in the AMBHL for the 2015-16 season. He played in 36 games and was able to put up four goals and two assists for six points with 50 penalty minutes. During his team’s playoff run he played in seven games and had one assist with 12 penalty minutes.
