Giants Hire New Goaltending Consultant
VANCOUVER, BC – The Vancouver Giants are pleased to announce Sean Murray has been hired on
ras the club’s new goaltending consultant. Murray replaces Bill Ranford,who has taken on the full-time position of Goaltending Coach with the Los Angeles Kings.

rMurray is the co-owner of Pro-Formance Goalie Schools, based in the lower mainland. A goalie coach for the past 13 years, Murray has worked as a master instructor along side Hockey Hall of Fame legend Vladislav Tretiak.

r”Sean is considered one of the top goaltending consultants in western Canada,” says Giants Head Coach Don Hay. “He is a welcome addition to our staff and we are looking forward to seeing him work with our current netminders and the young up-and-coming goaltenders we have in our system.”

rMurray is also the goaltending consultant for the UBC Mens Hockey Program and has worked previously with the Portland Winterhawks of the WHL and Manchester Monarchs of the American Hockey League. He also spent time as an assistant coach in the BCHL with the Surrey Eagles and Burnaby Bulldogs.
