FEHR NAMED GREYHOUND WHL PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Calgary – The Greyhound WHL Player of the Week is forward Eric Fehr of the Brandon Wheat Kings. Fehr earned player of the week honours by recording four goals and five points in two games, including three power-play goals and a game-winning goal during the week of October 6th to October 13th.

rOn Sunday, October 12th, Fehr recorded a hat-trick in a 5-4 overtime loss to the Tigers in Medicine Hat.

rOn Thanksgiving Monday, October 13th, Fehr scored the game-winning goal and added an assist in a 5-4 victory versus the Broncos in Swift Current.
r
rFehr, an 18-year-old from Winkler, Manitoba, was drafted by the Washington Capitals in the first round, 18th overall, in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft.
