COURCHAINE NAMED GREYHOUND WHL PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Calgary – The Greyhound WHL Player of the Week is forward Adam Courchaine of the Vancouver Giants. Courchaine earned player of the week honours by recording two goals and six points in two games during the week of December 22nd to December 28th.

rOn Saturday, December 27th, Courchaine assisted on all three goals scored by the Giants in a 3-1 victory over the visiting Kamloops Blazers.

rOn Sunday, December 28th, Courchaine scored two goals and added an assist in a 5-4 road loss to the Kamloops Blazers.
r
rCourchaine, a 19-year-old from Winnipeg, Manitoba, was drafted by the Minnesota Wild in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft.
