Canada ties Czech Republic at World Under-18
Team Canada scored three times in the first period and held on for a 3-3 tie against the Czech Republic in round robin play at the World Under-18 Championships in Yaroslavl, Russia on Monday.

rSteve Bernier, B.J. Crombeen and Ryan Getzlaf of the Calgary Hitmen scored first period goals to give Canada a 3-0 lead in the first period.

rLukas Casper scored a short-handed goal in the second period for the Czech Repulic before Jakub Petruzalek and Jakub Sindel tied the game in the third period.
