SASKATOON BLADES: Make Donation To Optimist Club
The Saskatoon Blades have donated $6,000 to the Saskatoon Hub City Optimist Club.
The Blades work closely with the Optimist Club all season and tonight they were presented with a $6,000 cheque, which comes from a portion of this season’s Saskatoon Blades jersey raffle sales.
In turn, the Optimist Club will be adding additional funds and donating it to the University of Saskatchewan’s Children’s Health Research Trust Fund.
The cheque was presented by the Blades Director of Business Operations John Brodsky, to Optimist Club representative Jim Dyke and Dr. Alan Rosenberg of the University of Saskatchewan’s Pediatric Department.
