Rockets-Royals: Scratches and Starting Goalies
Kelowna vs. Victoria – Oct. 22, 2011 – Prospera Place – Kelowna, BC
The Victoria Royals scored three times in the second period and made it stand up in a 3-2 win over the Kelowna Rockets on Saturday night at Prospera Place in Kelowna.
Mitchell Chapman and Myles Bell scored for the Rockets, who outshot Victoria 24-23 but couldn’t muster the tying goal in the third period.

The Rockets opened the scoring in the first period when Chapman’s wrist shot found the back of the net. With a 1-0 lead in the first period, the Rockets saw Victoria score three straight to take the lead before Kelowna cut the lead to 3-2 with a late second period power play goal by Myles Bell.
Jamie Crooks, Steven Hodges and Robin Soudek scored for Victoria.
Adam Brown played in net for the Rockets whose record fell to 4-6-1-0 on the season.
The Rockets weekend continues Sunday in Vancouver as they head south to meet the Giants in a game that begins at 5 p.m. from Vancouver.
Kelowna’s next home game is Wednesday when they host the Prince George Cougars
