Rockets release Zabransky to USHL
The Kelowna Rockets announced Saturday that they have released import defenceman Libor Zabransky to the Fargo Force of the United States Hockey League.
“Libor has been released to the Fargo Force of the USHL,” said General Manager Bruce Hamilton. “With eight defencemen here, we felt we needed to move one of our defenders. We tried to trade him within the Western Hockey League. However, teams are only allowed two import players, and we couldn’t get a deal done. He will report to Fargo immediately.”
The Brno, Czech Republic product was select 51st overall by the Rockets at the 2017 CHL Import Draft.
Zabransky suited up in 107 games with Kelowna over the last two seasons, he had 107 points (4G, 24A) and 66 penalty minutes.
