Rockets – Broncos
Dec. 5, 2012 – Kelowna, BC
The Kelowna Rockets came from behind on Wednesday night at Prospera Place, scoring four third period goals to beat the Swift Current Broncos 6-5 and extend its home winning streak to 11 games.
Cody Fowlie scored the game winner as part of a hectic third period that saw the Rockets and Broncos exchange six goals.
Fowlie converted a nice feed from Tyson Baillie with four-and-a-half minutes to play in the game, scoring his seventh goal of the season and completing a comeback that saw Kelowna trailing 3-1 late in the second period.

“Sometimes you have to win ugly,” said Rockets’ head coach Ryan Huska on the AM 1150 post game show. “At the end of the day we didn’t play as well as we could tonight. I thought we were slugish coming out of the gates. It wasn’t pretty but it was an important win for us.”
The Rockets have now won 11 straight games at Prospera Place, improving its overall WHL record to 18-9-1-1.
Zach Franko, Ryan Olsen, Madison Bowey, JT Barnett and Dylen McKinlay also scored for the Rockets while Adam Lowry led the charge for Swift Current, scoring three goals for the Broncos.
Kelowna will play its final home game before Christmas at Prospera Place on Saturday night when the Prince George Cougars come to Kelowna.
