Rockets even series in double OT

r The Kelowna Rockets have evened their best of seven playoff series with the Everett Silvertips with a 5-4 double overtime victory over the Silvertips.

r Geordie Wudrick fired a wrist shot into the top corner to end the game early in the second overtime. It's Wudricks's sixth goal of the series.

r The win means Kelowna fans will see the Rockets again as game six in the series will be Saturday night in Prospera Place. Tickets for the game go on sale at 9:30 a.m Thursday morning at www.selectyourtickets.com.

r Game 5 is Friday night in Everett.

r Down 4-3 in the third period, Antoine Corbin tied the score with his second of the playoffs, just minutes after Kelowna had a goal waved off. That sent the game to overtime.

r For the second night in a row Everett got off to a quick start as Shane Harper and Markus McCrea scored in the first six minutes.

r The Rockets battled back to take a 3-2 lead before the period was over through as Spencer Main, Geordie Wudrick and Brett Bulmer scored three straight goals.

r In the second period the Silvertips scored a pair to take a 4-3 lead after two periods with Clayton Cumsikey and Ryan Murray doing the damage.

r After an off day Thursday the team's will head back to Everett for game five Friday before game six Saturday in Kelowna. Game seven would be Monday night in Everett.
