Rockets and Hawks Continue Series in Kelowna
The Kelowna Rockets and Portland Winterhawks will continue what has been an intense first round Western Hockey League playoff series this week in Kelowna.
Portland leads the series two games to nothing after 4-0 and 6-3 wins in Portland on the weekend.
The first 3,000 fans into Prospera Place on Tuesday night for game three will receive a Tim Horton’s Thunderstick noise-maker while Tuesday will also see the Rockets Ducati Contest come to an end. One of four fans have a chance at the Rockets Ducati 696 Monster, donated by Bentley Motorrad.
The Rockets and Winterhawks are meeting in the WHL playoffs for the second straight season and have developed a great rivalry.
Portland claimed the first two games in the series and now the Rockets will be looking to the home ice advantage to try and get back into the series.
