Rockets Shut Out Tri-City 4-0
The Kelowna Rockets defeated the Tri-City Americans on Wednesday night at Prospera Place in Kelowna, improving to a WHL best 11-1-0-0 on the season.
Jackson Whistle turned aside all 22 shots he faced in the Rockets net in posting his second shut-out of the season.
Tyrell Goulbourne scored twice to lead the Rockets offense, while first period goals by Tomas Soustal and Jesse Lees in a span of 41 seconds set the tone for the win.
The Rockets are back in action on Saturday night at Prospera Place when they play host to the Brandon Wheat Kings.
