r Kelowna Rockets assistant captain Brandon McMillan will have a new lettter on his jersey when the WHL All-stars face off against the Russion Selects in the sixth and final game of the Subway Super Series at Prospera Place tonight. (7 p.m. tickets still available at selectyourtickets.com).

r McMillan is representing the Western League for the second straight year and was this week named Team WHL captain of the squad, along with assistants Craig Cunningham of the Vancouver Giants, Wacey Hamilton of the Medicine Hat Tigers and Travis Hamonic of the Moose Jaw Warriors.

r The 19-year-old native of Delta, B.C. is in his fourth season with the Rockets and was a third-round selection of the Anaheim Ducks in the 2008 NHL entry draft. Joining him for the game in Kelowna will be teammate Tyson Barrie, who played last night against Russia in his home town of Victoria, and Curtis Hamilton of the Saskatoon Blades. Hamilton is the son of Rockets GM Bruce Hamilton.

r The 2009 Subway Super Series marks the seventh straight year that teams of CHL All-Stars have competed against Team Russia in preparation for the World Junior Hockey Championships.
