HELLO LORD STANLEY; THE CUP IN KELOWNA
Kelowna Rockets goalie coach Kim Dillabaugh had his day with the Stanley Cup on Sunday in Kelowna, as members of the LA Kings are spending their summer celebrating a Stanley Cup victory.
Dillabaugh is in charge of goalie development with the LA Kings and spent the playoffs with the team, enjoying the club’s run to the Cup.
On Sunday, fresh from a trip to Slovenia with Anze Kopitar, the Cup rolled up (in a car and with a keeper) to Dillabaugh’s house.
From noon to 2, Dillabaugh invited the public to say hello to Lord Stanley and have a picture taken with it.
“This is about sharing the Cup with as many people as possible,” said Dillabaugh, who will have the Cup until midnight Sunday.
