Canada Wins World Junior Opener

Team Canada won its opener at the World Junior Hockey Championship in Buffalo with a 6-3 win over Russia.

Rockets defenceman Tyson Barrie made a key play to keep the puck in at the Russian blueline, allowing Canada to score its first goal.

Curtis Hamilton scored one of the goals for Canada.
