TRADE: Rockets acquire picks from Regina for Logan Peskett
The Kelowna Rockets announced today they have acquired a 2025 fifth-round draft pick and a 2027 seventh-round draft pick from the Regina Pats in exchange for 2006-born forward Logan Peskett from the Rockets.
“We’d like to thank Logan for his time as a Rocket,” said Rockets president and general manager, Bruce Hamilton. “Hopefully this move allows him to get into the lineup on a more regular basis.”
Peskett,17, has appeared in 14 games for Kelowna this season, recording a goal and eleven penalty minutes. The North Vancouver, BC product appeared in 54 games over the last two seasons, recording six points (2G, 6A) and 39 penalty minutes.
The 6’2″, 196-pound forward was selected by the Rockets in the sixth round (no. 127) in the 2021 WHL Prospects Draft.
