iSight Optometry Recap: Rockets contained, shutout by Wild
The Kelowna Rockets were shut out for the first time this season on Saturday night by the Wenatchee Wild at the Town Toyota Center in Wenatchee, WA.
The Wild were able to extinguish any offensive effort from the WHL’s third-highest-scoring team, including killing off seven Rocket power plays. With the win, Wenatchee extended their win streak to five games.
Jari Kykkanen made 27 saves on 31 shots, while Daniel Hauser turned aside all 30 shots he faced.

GAME SUMMARY
Kenta Isogai (8) scored the lone goal of the first period while Kelowna Rocket forward Max Graham was sitting in the penalty box.
The Wild’s special teams struck again in the second period, with a shorthanded goal from Evan Friesen (4). With two seconds left on the clock, Nashville Predators prospect Graham Sward‘s (5) shot found its way past Jari Kykkanen.
Miles Cooper (5) put the Wild up by four goals 1:04 into the third period.

The Rockets will return home to play two games next weekend at Prospera Place. They’ll host the Victoria Royals on Friday, the Red Deer Rebels and former Rocket Elias Carmichael will then make their lone visit of the season on Saturday.
