- Freeview: WHL fans can look forward to taking in games across the whole league through the newly-launched WHL Live on CHL TV. More are details available by visiting watch.CHL.ca. Opening weekend in the RE/MAX Hub Centres features all five teams in action. All opening weekend games will be available for freeview on WHL Live on CHL TV. The game will also be broadcast on AM 1150
- Online 50/50: The Kelowna Rockets online 50/50 is back for the 2020-21 season for all home games. The online 50/50 will give fans in Rockets fans located in British Columbia with the chance to win during every Rockets home game this season. It will also raise important dollars for the Kelowna Minor Hockey Association and the Rockets Education Fund. Tickets will go on sale at 9 a.m. PT Friday morning. - Tonight’s Preview: The Rockets kick off their 24-game schedule against the Victoria Royals. Last season Kelowna played the full nine-game series against the Royals, with the Victoria taking the season series 3-4-1-1. The Rockets final game of the 2019-20 season was played against the Royals, where they fell 3-2. Following tonight’s game, the Rockets will head to Kamloops to play the Vancouver Giants at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 28.
- Jam Packed: The Rockets will play their 24-game schedule over a 48-day period between March 26 and May 12. The WHL’s B.C. Division will play all 2020-21 regular-season games exclusively within the RE/MAX Hub Centres located in Kamloops and Kelowna. The RE/MAX Cup will be presented to the B.C. Division Champions at the conclusion of the 2020-21 WHL Regular Season. Both Kelowna and Victoria will call Prospera Place home this season. Kamloops, Prince George and Vancouver are based out of the Sandman Centre in Kamloops.
- Key Departures: The Rockets will be missing some serious firepower now that Matthew Wedman, Nolan Foote and Kyle Topping are all playing professional hockey in North America. Last year’s leading scorer, Pavel Novak, will not be in the lineup after he was unable to obtain a visa from the Canadian government—he is expected to return for the 2021-22 season. The quartet accounted for 160 of the Rockets points last season.
- New Recruits: Ten of the Rockets 24 roster players in the cohort this season are rookies. Additionally, forward Andrew Cristall and goaltender Nicholas Cristiano have joined the team as affiliate players.
