Four Rockets headed to NHL Camps
The Kelowna Rockets are excited to announce that four Rockets players are headed to NHL camps this September: Pavel Novak (Minnesota), Tyson Feist (Arizona), Trevor Wong (Florida) and Noah Dorey (Boston).
The Minnesota Wild will get their first in-person look at Novak, their fifth-round pick in the 2020 NHL Draft. He did not attend camp last year due to Covid-19 and played the entirety of the 2020-21 season in the Czech Republic after the Rockets were unable to secure a visa for the forward.
Following the end of the Wild’s camp, Novak will return for his second season with Kelowna. The forward led the Rockets in scoring during the 2019-20 season with 55 points (25G, 33A) over 58 games.
Most recently, the 19-year-old helped the Czech U20 team win the Four Nations Tournament last week. He appeared in three games, posting five points (3G, 2A).

Noah Dorey went undrafted in his first year of eligibility, but that didn’t stop the Boston Bruins from extending an invite to the eighteen-year-old defenceman.
