Preview: Rockets gear up for home-and-home series
The Kelowna Rockets will be looking to jump back into the win column tomorrow night when they open a home-and-home series against the Kamloops Blazers.
The series will shift back to Kelowna for a 7:05 pm puck matchup on Saturday at Prospera Place.
The Rockets were blanked 1-0 by the Victoria Royals last night on home ice. They fired 29 shots on Shane Farkas but were unable to beat the Royals netminder.
The Blazers also last played against the Victoria Royals, they downed them 5-1 on Saturday at the Sandman Centre in Kamloops, BC.

Players To Watch
Kelowna:
- Rockets captain Nolan Foote will be a game-time decision on Friday night. The 19-year-old returned from the World Juniors on Monday night and was honoured ahead of last night’s game for helping Canada secure gold.
- Defenceman Tyson Feist is expected to be in the Rockets lineup on Friday. The Rockets acquired the defenceman from the Regina Pats on Wednesday night. In 32 games with the Pats this season, he posted eight assists and 34 penalty minutes.
Kamloops Blazers:
- Orrin Centazzo had three assists and a goal against the Rockets on December 27.
- Former Rocket Libor Zabransky was acquired by the Blazers from the Moose Jaw Warriors earlier today. He was the captain of the host Czech Republic team at the World Juniors.
