21 WHL Players Attending NHL Scouting Combine
A total of 21 WHL players are currently competing in the NHL Scouting Combine in Buffalo, NY. While fans will quickly recall images of prospects being measured and completing the dreaded Wingate test – which all prospects will go through on Saturday – the select group of 114 NHL Draft eligibles have already been meeting with NHL clubs and undergoing physicals all week.
Led by Calgary Hitmen rearguard Jake Bean (ranked 15th amongst North American skaters) and CHL Goaltender of the Year Carter Hart (2nd amongst North American goalies), the elite group of WHL players will look to use the Scouting Combine to boost their draft stock on June 24th.
