Three Stars: November 27, 2019
1ST STAR: AUSTEN KEATING (OTTAWA 67’S) – 3G, 4A
Fifth-year Ottawa 67’s forward Austen Keating recorded his fourth OHL hat-trick and fell one point shy of a single game franchise record, putting up seven (3-4–7) in an 11-6 win over the Kingston Frontenacs. The seven points are the most by a 67’s player since Derek Grant and Steve Washburn each registered eight on February 19, 1995. Keating’s 38 points (13-25-38) place him second among Ottawa scorers and eighth among OHL scorers. The 20-year-old Guelph, Ont. native finished the 2018-2019 season with 89 points (22-67–89) and put up 14 points for the 67’s in last year’s playoffs. The 6-foot, 175lb winger was drafted 16th overall by the 67’s in 2015. Keating attended rookie camp with the St. Louis Blues this past September.
