Knights’ Sim to miss start of regular season
The London Knights announced Wednesday that forward Landon Sim will be out of the lineup for the start of the 2023-24 regular season, recovering from offseason surgery.
Sim, 19, suffered the injury during last year’s OHL Championship Series after he helped the Knights claim the Wayne Gretzky Trophy as Western Conference champions. The New Glasgow, Nova Scotia native and second-generation OHL talent recorded 21 points (14-7–21) in a second-straight season last year after he was selected by the St. Louis Blues in the sixth round of the 2022 NHL Draft. Sim added five assists in 21 playoff contests for London.
The Knights expect Sim back in the lineup prior to the new year.
