Caeden Heins commits to Generals
Oshawa, Ont. – The Oshawa Generals organization is extremely excited to announce 2022 6th round selection, Caeden Heins, has signed an OHL scholarship and development agreement.
Heins, selected 111th overall at the 2022 OHL Priority Selection, is the second 2022 draft class member to join the team in as many days.
The Vero Beach, Florida., native spent the 2022-2023 season with Florida Alliance South. In 52 games, the winger scored 35 goals and added another 37 assists for 72 points. In 16 more games at the EP Cup Series, he scored another six goals and four assists.
Back in the 2021-2022 season, Heins appeared in the OHL Cup scoring three goals in four games for TPH Thunder.
Heins, whose father Shawn played in the OHL for Peterborough and Windsor from 1991-93, will wear number 44 and will make his exhibition debut Monday afternoon in Port Hope when the Generals take on the defending OHL champion Peterborough Petes.
