Netminding prospect taken by Panthers in 2022 Draft
For the third time of this year’s 2022 NHL Draft, a prospect of the Program heard their name called.
With the 189th overall pick (28th of the 6th Round), goaltender TYLER MUSZELIK was selected by the Florida Panthers.
A native of Long Valley, NJ Muszelik was selected by the Greyhounds in the 15th Round of the 2020 OHL Priority Selection, presented by Real Canadian Superstore.
A 6.02, 194-lb netminer, Tyler has competed the last two seasons within the US National Development Program.
In 2021-22 with the U.S. National 18 Team he appeared in 35 games compiling a 24-5-3 record to go along with a 2.91 GAA and .900 SV%.
He appeared in 16 games with the USNTDP Juniors within the USHL and represented his country at the U18 tournament.
In 2020-21 he was a member of the U.S. National U17 team.
