The 67’s head into the Holiday break with a trio of road games this week starting tonight in Kingston. You can catch the 7:00 start on Rogers-22 or hear it on 580-CFRA radio (Sens are on TSN-1200). After the game it’s off to the Big Smoke for a matchup against the Mississauga Steelheads Friday night and then on to Barrie on Saturday to tame the Colts.
The 67’s next home game will be Sunday December 28th vs. Kingston at TD place. Tell your friends and neighbours to be there to cheer-on the 67’s, cheer-off the turkey pounds, park in the underground lot for only $8 (advance order online) and see the kids going crazy on our monster HD-video board.
The 67’s currently sit 5th in the Eastern Conference tied with Kingston. The 67’s are ranked 11th on the power play and 8th on the Penalty Kill.
Kingston
Tonight’s game at the K-Rock centre will be the 4th of 8 meetings between the division rivals this season. The 67’s will look to break the pattern that emerged in the first 3 games with home teams taking home 2 points. Kingston will be missing Lawson Crouse who is still at Team Canada’s World Junior camp. Ottawa will be without Sam Studnicka who’ll be serving game 4 of his 8-game suspension for a checking to the head penalty. Kingston is ranked 16th on the power play and 12th on the penalty kill so if special teams are the key tonight, Ottawa has the edge.
Be sure to check back Friday for a preview of the games against Mississauga and Barrie.
