FEW OPENINGS REMAIN FOR HOCKEY SCHOOL
Brandon, Manitoba — With the start of the 12th Annual Brandon Wheat Kings’ Hockey School just over a week away, organizers of the popular camp have announced that a few openings remain in three of the four age groups.r

As of Thursday, July 29th there were five spots remaining in the atom and pee wee divisions while the novice group had four openings left. The Bantam age group meanwhile is completely full.r

Among the many instructors scheduled to appear at this year’s Hockey School are Wheat King coaches Kelly McCrimmon, Dwayne Gylywoychuk and Brad Wells as well as former Wheat King players Marty Murray of the Carolina Hurricanes, Robert McVicar of the Manitoba Moose and Ryan Craig of the American Hockey League’s Hershey Bears.r

In addition to the on ice sessions, players attending will participate in several dryland activities. As well, the Wheat Kings will host a special barbecue for all players, families and instructors on Thursday, August 12th.
