Raiders Tame Broncos

The Prince Albert Raiders bounced back in a big way, defeating the Swift Current Broncos by a final score of 3-1 at the Art Hauser Centre.

 

Leon Draisaitl opened the scoring in the first period, converting a feed from Dakota Conroy.

 

Colby Cave was able to even the slate early in the second, but Jonas Knutsen replied 23 seconds later to regain the lead.

 

In the third, Leon Draisaitl ripped a slapshot over the shoulder of the Bronco netminder to give the home side the Insurance Brokers insurance goal of the game.

 

Luke Siemens stopped 25 of 26 shots faced in his 30^th victory of the campaign.

 

Defenceman Evan Morden was named the Dickies Hardest Working Raider of the game, picking up an assist to snap a 9-game pointless drought.
