Raiders Season Ends in 3-2 Loss
The Raiders season came to a close Wednesday night, as they fell 3-2 and being ousted from the 2013 WHL Playoffs in the process.
The home team came out hard, with captain Mark McNeill getting the team on the board after burying a Josh Morrissey rebound 5 minutes into the game.
Jayden Hart kept the pressure on, finishing off a sweet passing play with Leon Draisaitl and Mark McNeill on the power play.
The Rebels got on the score sheet, cutting the lead in half before the end of the first period, and tied the score midway through the second stanza.
In the final frame, Red Deer took the lead, and clung on for the final 10 minutes to escape Prince Albert with the win.
Luke Siemens made 34 saves on 37 shots in the final game of his junior career.
