Raiders Name Siemens Playoff MVP
Prince Albert SK- The Prince Albert Raiders announced today that 20-year-old goaltender Luke Siemens has been named the team’s Most Valuable Player of their 2013 post-season.
In 4 games of the playoffs this year, the Delta BC product recorded a 2.78 goals against average and a .917 save percentage. Siemens was named the regular season MVP as well, recording a franchise high .912 save percentage as well as setting franchise records for saves, games played and minutes played.
“Luke was great for us all season and continued his strong play in the post season. He gave us a chance to win each and every game,” said Raiders General Manager Bruno Campese. “As a 20-year-old, he certainly made the most of his final seasons in the Western Hockey League and we wish him all the best in his future endeavors.”
