Raiders Fall to Cougars

Prince Albert SK– The Prince Albert Raiders were topped by the Prince George Cougars 6-3. The Raiders fell behind early  falling into a 2-goal deficit before 17-year-old forward Mike Winther was able to notch his second goal of the season. 20-year-old forward  Justin Maylan added his fourth goal of the season  in the second period to within one goal of tying the game but it was not enough as the Cougars scored the next 3 straight to take the win. 18-year-old goaltender Cole Holowenko made 38 saves on 43 shots, including shutting down Cougar Wilson Dumais on a penalty shot.
