Raider Training Camp Starts August 22nd
Raider Training Camp Ready to Start Next Friday!
Prince Albert, Saskatchewan – The 2008-09 edition of the Prince Albert Raiders will start to take shape Friday, August 22nd when close to 90 players are expected to report to Training Camp at the Art Hauser Centre. The camp will include orientation, practice and scrimmages Friday through Sunday.
The camp will be reduced to two teams late Sunday for the Annual Green and Gold Intra Squad game on Monday, August 25th at 3:00 PM. Following the intra squad game up to 32 players will remain with the team for main camp.
All sessions are at the Art Hauser Centre and are open to the public.
Here is training camp itinerary:
Friday, August 22nd – Registration – 2:00 PM
Orientation – 3:00 PM
Team Black practice – 5:00 – 6:00 PM
Team Gold practice – 6:15 – 7:15 PM
Team Green practice – 7:30 – 8:30 PM
Team Blue practice – 8:45 – 9:45 PM
Saturday, August 23rd
Goalie session – Black & Gold – 8:00 AM – 8:35 AM
Team Black vs. Team Gold – 8:35 – 10:45 AM
Team Green vs. Team Blue – 11:00 AM – 1:15 PM
Goalie session – Green & Blue – 1:15 – 1:50 PM
Team Black vs. Team Green – 4:30 – 6:45 PM
Team Gold vs. Team Blue – 7:00 – 9:15 PM
Sunday, August 24th
Team Black vs. Team Blue – 8:30 – 10:30 AM
Team Gold vs. Team Green – 10:45 AM – 12:45 PM
3rd Place vs. 4th Place – 3:00 – 5:00 PM
2nd Place vs. 1st Place – 6:30 – 8:30 PM
Monday, August 25th
Intra Squad Game – Green vs. Gold – 3:00 – 6:00 PM
Season ticket holders are reminded to pay for their 2008-09 tickets as soon as possible. The season ticket package includes both home pre-season games: Sunday, August 31 vs. Saskatoon (6:30 PM) and Friday, September 12 vs. Swift Current (7:30 PM).
The Raiders open the 08-09 regular season Friday, September 19th in Saskatoon, hosting the Blades in the CKBI Home Opener Saturday, September 20th at 7:30 PM.
