Raider Game March 13
Prince Albert, Saskatchewan – The Prince Albert Raiders in conjunction with corporate sponsor Molson/Coors Canada are pleased to announce that Saskatchewan Roughrider quarterback Darian Durant and wide receiver Weston Dressler will be guests of the hockey club at their Saturday, March 13th game when they host the Saskatoon Blades at 7:00 PM. It will be a full evening as the game also is the Annual CTV Mayors Challenge with Prince Albert Mayor
This will be the fifth consecutive season members of the Riders have visited a Raider game. The Riders will be available for autographs and pictures starting at 6:00 PM in the Johnny Bower Lobby and in the first intermission in the Ches Leach Lounge. They will take part in the CTV on-ice intermission feature in the second intermission.
Durant started all 18 regular season games as well as the West Final and Grey Cup for the Riders at quarterback in 2009. He completed 339 of 561 pass attempts including 24 touchdowns to be named the to the CFL West All Star team, be nominated as the Riders Most Outstanding Player and was named the Riders Most Popular Player.
Dressler has led the Riders in receiving the past two seasons. In 2008 he had 58 receptions for 1128 yards, 6 touchdowns and was named the CFL’s Outstanding Rookie and was the Riders Most Popular Player. In 2009 Dressler had 62 catches for 941 yards and 4 TD’s before his season came to an end due to an ankle injury in week 14. Dressler was named to the CFL West All-Star team in 2009.
