Game Preview: Game 54 @ Medicine Hat
SETTING IT UP:
The Raiders make their final trip into Alberta this weekend for a pair of games, kicking off tonight in Medicine Hat. It’s their third meeting of the season with the Tigers, with the season series tied at one game apiece. If the playoffs were to start today, these two teams would be squaring off in the first round. Prince Albert is coming off six days of rest, after beating the Brandon Wheat Kings 7-3 on Saturday night at the Art Hauser Centre.
LOOKING TO END THE ROAD WOES:
While Prince Albert picked up their sixth straight win on home ice on Saturday night, they will be looking to flip the script on their road troubles. The club enters tonight’s game with 10 straight losses away from home, dating all the way back to December 27th. Their last win on the road came on December 3rd against the Calgary Hitmen, when they won by a 5-3 final.
GOOD THINGS COME IN TWO’S:
Out of their seven goals against Brandon last weekend, three Raiders scored twice. Sloan Stanick, Niall Crocker, and Krzysztof Macias all had a pair of goals, with Oli Chenier adding the other on the powerplay.
MILESTONE NIGHT:
Grady Martin is suiting up in his 100th WHL game tonight, all of which have been played in a Raider jersey. The 17-year-old forward has two goals and eight assists this season.
