While there won’t be any WHL playoffs for a second consecutive season, the Pats and Wheat Kings come into the night with something to play for.
Brandon sits atop the division standings with a three-point lead over the Winnipeg ICE heading into the day. A single point would clinch the division title for the Wheaties, who swept the season series with the ICE.
Meanwhile for the Pats, the squad has their eyes set on trying to finish fourth in the division standings. Regina is currently one point up on the Prince Albert Raiders in the race for best of the rest behind the division’s top three clubs, including the third-place Saskatoon Blades who sit with 31 points.

Brandon’s Ben McCartney is also in the mix with 13 on the campaign.
