BLAZERS AND COUGARS IN FINAL PRESEASON GAME
The Kamloops Blazers host the Prince George Cougars in the Blazers final game of the WHL preseason tonight. The Blazers are 4-0-0-0 in the preseason while the Cougars are an impressive 3-1-0-0.
Both teams are expected to ice veteran line-ups tonight as they prepare for the upcoming regular season which begins next Friday night.
Tonight, the Blazers will also be hosting their season ticket pick-up night from 5:00pm – 7:00pm in the Parkside Lounge prior to the start of the game.
Season ticket pick-up night will also give season ticket holders an exclusive opportunity to view the new third jerseys that will be in use this season. Season ticket holders will have the opportunity to enter to win a replica third jersey autographed by the 2012-13 Kamloops Blazers.
Players not playing in the exhibition game will be in the Parkside Lounge between 5:40pm – 6:00pm to model the jerseys and answer questions from the voice of the Blazers, Jon Keen. Head Coach Guy Charron and Associate Coach Dave Hunchak will also be in the Parkside Lounge to mingle from 5:40pm – 6:00pm.
The Kamloops Blazers Booster Club will be outside during the evening selling hot dogs and pop to fans.
The Blazers home opener is coming up this Friday, September 21st when they raise the 2011-12 B.C. Division Championship Banner as they host the Kelowna Rockets. The first 2500 fans in the building will receive a B.C. Division Champions Rally Towel.
