Brayden Point scored three goals to lead Team Alberta to a 6-3 win over Team Manitoba in Game 1 of the 2011 Western Canada U16 Challenge Cup from Moose Jaw, SK.  Team Alberta will next face Team BC Friday at 3:00pm while Team Manitoba will square off with against Team Saskatchewan at 7:00pm at Mosaic Place in Moose Jaw, SK.

The 1st overall selection in the 2011 WHL Draft Jake Virtanen scored the overtime winner as Team BC came from behind to defeat Team Saskatchewan 3-2 in Game 2 of the 2011 Western Canada U16 Challenge Cup from Moose Jaw, SK.  Team Alberta will next face Team BC Friday at 3:00pm while Team Manitoba will square off with against Team Saskatchewan at 7:00pm at Mosaic Place in Moose Jaw, SK.
